Thoughts from Sandie

Gosh, I can’t believe it, I have been at the helm of this amazing club for a year.

I have had loads of fun getting to know you all including the volunteers (who are amazing).

Looking back over the last 12 months I have made a few changes, from the new badges, a monthly raffle, and a website to name a few.
But the best thing was the club winning the Wellbeing Category of the Stafford Borough Community Awards last November. Showing everyone what an incredibly special club this is indeed.

Thoughts from the Volunteers

We, the Volunteers hope that we make a real difference to all your lives, including ours on a Thursday morning.

The Drop-In Club has helped to build our confidence and self-esteem and makes our time with you so worthwhile.

It gives us a sense of purpose in helping you all, whether you are a member, carer, spouse, partner, sibling, or friend, we all want to help in the community.

It is a great way for you all to share and support each other and to make new friends and for you to treat us as your friends too.

Some of us have been volunteering here for many years, some for about a year and some have recently joined us, but we all enjoy our time with you and love to see the smiles on your faces.

We want you to know that if you are happy, the Volunteers are even happier.

NB of course, Cynthia and Sandra only come for the dancing !!
